What if, for doubles, there was a second player spot and you would have to connect with them through netplay (in the mean time, unless there is a easier way, and it involving connecting from in-game). Then both of you would search for another doubles the same way as unranked.

using regular netplay will not work with Slippi Online, the other person in your netplay lobby won’t get the inputs from the opponents.

What about local doubles only? Then there wouldn’t be any problem with rollback. 2 people on one computer, 2 people on another. Shouldn’t be terribly difficult to implement i’d imagine. I don’t know how important packet sizes being sent over would make an impact, but I think this would at least be a start to something!

Doubles would be fantastic. Even if local-only, would be sick to be able to queue up doubles when you have a friend over
PLEASE LETS HAVE DUBZ BACK I MISS THEM A LOT

If we could get local doubles keeping it to just the 2 host computers that would be amazing. Most people probably don’t wanna play with a random online anyway.
