You shouldn't be allowed to switch characters if you win#682

Basically the title. I’ve played tons of FGC titles in tournaments and I’ve never seen a ruleset where you can swtich characters after you win AND the opponent picks the stage. What’s the point of counter picking a stage if the opponnent can just pick a different character? I dont know, maybe I’m a noob, but this seems very odd to me.

this rule has been in place for like 20 years and has never been questioned. counterpicking a stage is still good because the stage might be better for your character, or you might be glad to have them switch characters. it’s better the way it is.
