It would be awesome if you could hide your rank from yourself once ranked comes out. Little toggle to make it so you can’t see it, or having to go to a separate menu to check it out, or just a setting to not see whatever animation would should your rank going up or down.
I know it may sound weird but as someone with anxiety seeing my rank in any online game always fucks me up.
I used to play League of Legends a ton, I’m talking 10 games a day while going to college classes. Nothing messed me up more than seeing my rank go up and being unable to focus on the games ahead.
Ive gone on 6+ game losing streaks due to not feeling like I was “worthy” of being the rank I was. And if there was a world where I never have to see my rank unless I chose to that would have helped a lot.
I don’t know how many people out there would benefit from something like this but I can bet it’d be more than just me.
Minus imposter syndrome, it’s just healthier to not care about your rank, so I’d rather not see it in a postgame screen if it can be avoided
