I respect Goomy’s work fully.
However, it can all be done on the sofware side for everyone.
Integrate notch calibration in Slippi. Rich people are at an advantage here…
Have it done in the main menu, and quickly. Or in settings, with saved calibrations.

It would have to be done with the eventual release of an official “Slippi memory card” (wich could have more memory than official nintendo mem cards).
it’s also a great way to make good notching more accessible…because notchers are hard to find. it also makes renotching irrelevent.
