Report persons#291

Being able to reoprt persons for :

• Freeze Glitching then stalling/teabagging infinitely
• doing Infinites without stopping (this includes using Jigglypuff’s UP-B, Sing, to keep the opponent asleep infintely and Peach to wallbomb infinitely on FoD and Yoshi’s Story)
• inappropiate names / (if chat exists) inappropiate messages
• using hacks to buff their own character (https://www.facebook.com/groups/MeleeItOnMe/permalink/821747231259680/) or to use illegal characters
• going AFK
• instantly quitting

The problem with reports is that they would need people to actually review these reports as it’s too hard to automate the reviews (false positives etc.) Seeing as this is open source and donation driven I’d hate for man hours that could have gone to bettering the mod being spent reviewing reports instead.

Instantly quitting and going afk solve themselves. Just move onto the next person.

Actually most of those could be detected by bots I think.

You can’t “hack” melee online lol. Any buff towards a character would immediately cause the game to desync. Also the team plans on removing the ability to play as giga bowser
