When watching stream highlight compilations for example, it can be easier to tell who someone is playing against when the name is displayed during battle.

Not a bad idea. Relative to other issues atm like not having stage selection, ranked, or full chat, etc., this is a pretty cosmetic request, but of course does serve good utility as stated during eg. tourney streaming
