training mode while searching for oppponent.
also coulda have a training mode where you can toggle the search on or off, so you can warm up a bit then toggle it on when your ready to play unranked

Yes this would be fantastic. I’d much rather play a lvl 1 or 9 or any in between CPU while waiting for a match than to sit idle! Maybe like an L+R while searching launches “pre-match mode” or something similar

Matches take like 10 seconds on average to find though.

If it took a long time to find a match I would support this, but usually it takes between 3 to 10 seconds to find a match, at least for me. Therefore I think a feature like this would be just a lot of work with no real benefit, at least as it stands today.

Yeah this would make no sense. Imagine it loading a training screen and then exiting out after 10 seconds when you find a match. This only works in Ultimate where it takes like at least a minute to find a match.

Sometimes it takes on the uphand of 30 or 40 seconds to find a match for me. Sometimes it seems canceling the search and restarting it helps with this. Regardless, I normally choose to open 20xx so I can warm up a little before queueing up. At the very least, it would be nice to have a training mode to boot up even before queueing up. Def a lower priority roadmap item but down the road very feasible.

in some regions with certain isps it can take like 10 minutes to find a match so this would be good, same for direct connect

i would love something like what Rivals of Aether does, i imagine something like “select fox, start for start searching, press L to open a tiny box with just you and battlefield” i think something like that would be a bit easier since you dont have to engage with all the training mode stuff like spawning items or loading different stages. i work at night and it could get up to 30 minutes of just waiting for someone.
